The bed and breakfast “Il giardino sul lago” fulfills your dream of a truly relaxing holiday on lake Orta. We offer you the only room we rent out in our beautiful 18th century house directly at the lake. You’ll have your own space, completely independent from the rest of the building. The view from the balcony is breathtaking: you can see “Isola di San Giulio” and watch the boats passing by in the sunset.
You are free to use our beautiful garden, full of camellias, azaleas and roses, shaded by a big beech tree, right on the lake.
Situated at the entrance of the town of Orta, the b&b is only a few minutes walking from the main square, but its position is very quiet and cosy. The house has a very rich library with books in different languages, partly open to our guests. There is also a big collection of jazz, classical and traditional recordings.
